Is sex safe for people with 心脏病?

Readjusting to everyday life can be tough for people with 心脏病. You wonder about everything: Should I eat this food? 我可以做那个活动吗? Can my body deal with the stress?

Among the many questions is whether 心脏病 will affect your sex life — or if it’s safe to have sex at all. According to the American Heart Association, it is probably safe to have sex if your 心脏病 has stabilized.

Cardiovascular events — such as 心脏病发作 or chest pain caused by 心脏病 (心绞痛) — rarely occur during sexual activity, because sexual activity is usually for a short time.

If you have unstable 心绞痛 or if your symptoms are severe, 你应该接受评估, treated 和 stabilized before having sex.
